Drawing from my years of experience as a teacher, mother, therapist, and negotiator, I have a teaching style that is at once patient, creative, and considerate of my students.I received my bachelor's degree in English and Psychology from Drew University and my teaching certification from St. Peter's College, also in New Jersey. I have also completed course work at Mills College and the University of California, Berkeley. I have attended many seminars and workshops to keep abreast of new developments and techniques in my field. Being trilingual, I am able to tutor Spanish, German, and English. I can also teach students in literature, elementary mathematics, social sciences, and test preparation.My background includes many years of substitute teaching and tutoring for students of all ages, and I have also helped people to pass their naturalization tests to become U.S. citizens.
